Also, when we're talking QuickTime and QuickTime Player, are we talking about the same thing? If so, it would be nice to agree on a standardized nomenclature. So what's the deal, or does it not matter: Is it preferred to do the QT7 install from the OS X 10.6.x install disk, or DL QuickTime Player 7.6.6 from Apple support?ĭo both paths allow you to upgrade to QT Pro? I've found some confusing (to me, anyway) anomalies. I'm looking for a path to use QT Pro on a machine running OS X 10.6.7.
